The Model 176 is a magazine pouch that is
spring loaded to lift the magazine above other
duty gear on the belt, and it can pivot away from
body to prevent interference with body armor.
The securing strap is ergonomically designed to
release with one finger and can be stowed out of
the way to become a speed case.
The magazine is secure in the holder in an
inverted position with securing strap removed
and there are no metal straps to corrode or
become damaged. The unit is designed to
operate next to, and in contact with, other belt
gear including another Model 176 Extreme Duty
Magazine Holder.
